Engagement sessions

Brief

An engagement session is the practice run. Most couples have never been photographed together properly, and forty minutes of it beforehand changes how the wedding day goes.

Approach

Almost no posing. A place to stand, a direction to walk, and then photographing what happens between the instructions. The ring gets its own few frames because it is the one detail everybody wants and nobody remembers to ask for.
