Rosa Park Visuals is a photography and video production business operated by Rosa Park, working across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area and around Bancroft, Ontario. Questions about anything on this page go to rosa@rosaparkvisuals.com.

The contact form

When you send the form on the contact page, the details you type are emailed to Rosa. That is the whole mechanism: there is no customer database behind it and nothing is added to a mailing list.

What the form collects:

• Your name and email address, which are required so a reply can be sent.
• Your phone number, company, preferred timeframe, budget range and any link you paste, all of which are optional.
• The service you selected, the project location and your description.
• Your IP address, used only to rate limit the form so it cannot be used to send repeated automated messages. It is held in server memory for at most one hour and is not stored or emailed.

Enquiries are kept in Rosa’s email for as long as they are commercially relevant, and in accounting records where a booking follows. Ask at any time for an enquiry to be deleted and it will be.

Services this site relies on

• Hosting. This site is served from a hosting provider that keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and diagnostics.
• Email delivery. Contact form messages are delivered through an email sending service. The contents of your enquiry pass through it.
• Fonts. Typefaces are served from this site’s own domain rather than requested from a third party while you browse.
• Video. Videos are embedded from YouTube and Vimeo, and are set not to load until you press play. Until then no request is made to either service. When you play a video, that provider’s own privacy terms apply. YouTube embeds use the no-cookie domain and Vimeo embeds are set to do not track.

Analytics

No analytics are currently running on this site. If that changes, this page will be updated before the change goes live, and any analytics used will anonymise IP addresses and will not collect advertising identifiers.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. If you play an embedded video, the video provider may set cookies at that point. That is the only cookie-setting interaction on the site, and it only happens if you press play.

Photography and video of people

Where a shoot involves people, use of the resulting images is agreed with the client in the booking. Client work is published on this site only where permission has been given. If you appear in something published here and would like it removed, email rosa@rosaparkvisuals.com and it will be taken down.

Your rights

You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email rosa@rosaparkvisuals.com and you will get an answer within thirty days. Canadian privacy law, principally PIPEDA, applies to this business.

Changes to this page

If what this site collects changes, this page is updated before the change goes live, and the date at the top changes with it.
